WHERE IT BEGAN

The Muur was born from a shared obsession with padel, with community, and with the belief that sport can be the foundation of an extraordinary life.

We are founders who grew up inside racquet sports. We played tennis at the NCAA level, competed internationally, and watched the culture around the sport shape everything from how we made friends to how we built our careers. When padel arrived in the U.S., we saw not just a sport, but an opportunity: to create something the market had never seen, a club that puts the game at the center and builds a world around it.

The Muur - meaning "wall" in Afrikaans - is a nod to the defining feature of padel: the glass wall that changes everything. It contains the rally, intensifies the connection, and turns every match into a shared experience. That wall is also what we are building here. A boundary that holds something special together.
